MPI delivers her first Fuel Oil Booster Unit
Last month, May 2009, Maritime Piping Industry Ltd (MPI) delivered her first Booster Unit to Tuzla Gemi Shipbuilding Industry in Turkey, where it will be placed on board of new building no41. The second Booster Unit for Tuzla Gemi will be delivered later on this year.
This Unit was successfully shop tested in the presence of classification society RINA on location in Izmit, where MPI has her production facility.
MPI is the Turkish daughter company of the successful engine room designer and builder Marine Service Holding from the Netherlands, which is responsible for the management and technical support. Next to building Booster Units MPI builds nitrogen generator modules and high quality prefabricated piping. All systems are drawn with the help of the 3D-Engineeringsprogram Nupas Cadmatic.
In the future MPI hopes to expand her activities in before mentioned systems for the Turkish and international shipbuilding market.
MPI delivers her first two nitrogen generator modules
Both modules have successfully been shop tested by Bureau Veritas on location in Izmit. In the meantime they have been delivered at RMK Shipyards in Tuzla, where they will be placed on board of new building 074 and 075.
